Juco is a blend of jute and cotton. It keeps the strength and natural texture of jute but has a softer, smoother surface that takes fine multi-colour printing — which plain jute cannot do as well.

What is a juco bag?
Juco is a fabric blend of jute and cotton. It carries the strength and natural appearance of jute with a smoother surface from the cotton content, which allows finer and more detailed printing than plain jute.
Why choose juco over jute or cotton?
Choose juco when plain jute looks too coarse for your brand but a cotton tote feels too light. It sits between the two in both texture and price, and takes multi-colour artwork well.
Is juco as strong as jute?
Juco is strong enough for normal retail and grocery use. For very heavy loads we would recommend a heavier jute or a canvas bag, and we will advise at quotation stage based on what the bag needs to carry.
Can juco bags be laminated?
Yes. Lamination adds water resistance and a smoother print surface. We laminate juco in the same way as jute, in house.
